Thanks for the suggestions Nicholas, but nothing I do will let me put the button in my bookmark bar. I have my bookmarks organized by folders in alpha and every time I try to move the clip it button it goes to a google search page and there is a void and error message. Guess I will have to wait for an extension to be developed.

Interesting, I am also using Windows with Chrome. Try adding the clipit button on the main bookmarks bar rather then the folder. Only click on the button you are on web page that you want to clip.

Thanks will try right now. Earlier, I was on a page and the clip it button magically appeared on the page to the left, but when I clicked on it, I got the same error message as when I try to put the button in bookmarks bar.

The clip it button should be on your bookmarks toolbar. When on a page, just click on the clipit button. I am a bit confused. Are you saying that you get an error when clicking on the clip it button on page?

Hi Nicolas, the button won't even go onto my bookmarks bar, when I try to drag it there it either goes into one of my existing folders or I get this message that appears in a new tabvoid((function(){var e=document.createElement('script');e.setAttribute('type','text/javascript');e.setAttribute('charset','UTF-8');e.setAttribute('src','http://www.wordever.com/js/wordever/clipmarklet.js?r='+Math.random()*99999999);document.body.appendChild(e)})());

I have never had this happen with my buttons before, so I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. Pinterest, Read Later, etc. all went up as extensions and not into the bar itself. I must be missing something.

What happens when it goes into one of your existing folder? Would you still be able to click it on a page?
