They already have one volunteer to help — one who has plenty of experience with novels about gleeful sexual degradation. Bret Easton Ellis has taken to Twitter to express his interest in penning the screenplay for the book’s big-screen adaptation. He’s even put forward an ideal director: David Cronenberg, with whom he previously worked during the early stages of American Psycho.
